Friendly Wars–a brief introduction

 

We want friendly wars to be fun.  We will try and negotiate wars that are even in size and strength, that start and finish at helpful times and the general rules of the war

 

 

Rules of War

  • No trash talking or taunting the enemy on their walls
  • No stripping
  • No mercs - rosters will be locked and the ability to join the clan disabled
  • No posting someone from the opposing side open on WC
  • LISTEN  to your squad lead in war
  • Do not go active before the start of the war

Preparation

  • Let the war admin know if and when you are going to be around, so they can allocate you to a squad
  • Know which squad you are in and talk to your squad leader before the war
  • You will need to be with in the clan after declaration so that final rosters can be agreed.  If you are asked to stand down to make a war more even, please don't be offended.
  • At least 100 of all defence, attack, spy attack, and spy defence pots. (although 300 is better and 3000-4000 is what you could need if you were hit every 5 minutes and lost pots each time)
  • Max Plunder (as a minimum, however allies give you strength in war)
  • An warring build, a build not just designed for plunder wars
  • 6 Health Crystals if you want but at least 3 is helpful

War Checklist

  • Have 0 gold out
  • Full troops at the start of war
  • Always attack for the good of the clan
  • Hit the targets given to you by your squad leader
  • Bank your gold in pots
  • Report your hits on CC
  • If someone's hitting you, tell your squad leader
  • Only go active when you know you can be there for a good period of time
  • LISTEN  to your Squad lead in war

Strategy

There are lots of game plans out there, but the key strategy we were missing was around having war admin, squads and squad leads.
War Admin
We would need 2 war admin in different time zones.  There role is the following
  • not to be an active player in the war
  • watch cc to have a full picture of the war
  • direct the squad leaders regarding targets they may have missed or how they can support other squads
  • update ca with the time players are pinned
  • keep track of the number of pots the opponents have, looking for weak targets
  • Act as a leak checker, posting win/lost stats on players walls (although this may need to be delegated)
Squads
These are basically 4-5 man teams (or bigger).  We were talking about having 5 within the clan.  These teams contain a Hansel or pure spy, and attack players. They will have a lead and a second for when the lead is unavailable.  The squads will be build around size and if possible time zone, so that different size opponents can be targeted.
Squad Leaders
The squad lead directs their squad, keeping check on what is happening to their players.  The plan is that under direction of the squad lead, the Hansel goes in first assa the target.  The Hansel then say who is attacking them, as these are the people who are now weakened on the other side.  The Squad lead directs the attackers to pin this player using as few his from each player as possible.  Squad lead then directs a player to keep this person pinned.  Allow a bit of regen, and repeat
  1. Hansels go in first
  2. wait to see who attacks them
  3. attackers attack
  4. pin player (and keep pinned)
  5. rinse and repeat

Ironically this is how we were working at the beginning of the war when there were only 6 of us playing, although it wasn’t planned… and apart from a leak we couldn't hold, we were actually up for the first two hours so it definitely works.

Leaks

  • Please only join the war when your squad lead says ok.
  • Let your squad lead know when you are not going to be on so you can be pinned
  • War admin will be tracking losses and who is active to see if we have leaks
  • if you are asked to pin someone who isn’t there, please keep doing it rather than forgetting.
  • Invest in some allies for protection as well as max plunder

Communication

Hopefully the above will sort out some of the communication issues.  The key with this is to listen to your squad lead and the war admin.  Even if the instruction leaves you pinned or not making money, we all need to be working for the good of the team so instructions need to be followed.
Everyone has to shout out their hits or we have no idea if you are active.  It has been suggested if we know people are active and not shouting out that we kick them because they are a liability as we have no idea what is happening with them.

Dark Anbu

We have some huge news, Anbu Black Ops and Dark Moon have merged to create a new huge clan. This all happened yesterday, and all of the consequences of this change are yet to be seen.

 
What is true is that we are excited about the change.

Second: Use Item: Seal of Deflection Image on the Seal of the Dead to 25%
Phase 1/2 Completion: With a haunting scream, more apparitions appear from the isle.

Second: Use Item: Seal of Deflection Image on the Seal of the Dead to 0%
Mission Completion:With the seal now broken, a gateway has been created between both worlds, allowing your entry into the isle.

First: Attack and Assassinate Apherium to 75%
Phase 1/4 Completion: Apheriun mocks you with your short lived victory, reformed anew Apheriun retreats further in to the nether realm and stands ready to command the armies of the nether.

First: Attack and Assassinate the Legions of the Nether
Second: Scout the Nether Beasts
Third: Use item: Seal of Deflection Image on Apheriun's Seal(It Regenerates 450 points every 5 minutes)
Fourth: Attack and Assassinate Apheriun to 70% while keeping Apheriun's Seal at zero.
Phase 2/4 Completion: Weakened, Apheriun gathers his strength once again.

First: Use item: Seal of Deflection Image on Apheriun's Improved Seal to between 6750 - 8250 (roughly 45% - 55%) (It Regenerates 450 points every 2 minutes)
Second: While keeping the seal at this range attack and assassinate Apheriun to 20%
Phase 3/4 Completion: With the very last of his strength, Apheriun makes a final attempt to stop you.

First: Use item: Seal of Deflection Image on Apheriun's Improved Seal to between 6750 - 8250 (roughly 45% - 55%) (It Regenerates 450 points every 2 minutes)
Second: Use item: Seal of Lightning Image on Apheriun's Improved Seal testing to see if you can attack Apheruin every 1,000 - 2,000 points.
(The Sweet spot is different every time but it is 3,000 points wide)
(It Regenerates 1000 points every1 minutes so pin it deep)
The "Testing to find the Sweet Spot" requires experienced cooperative clanmates who are all working as a team. If the improved seal is over or underpinned then the sweet spot testing on the Nether seal may fail. Here is an example of how we coordinate the testing:

Third: Once you find the sweet spot maintain both seals and Attack and Assassinate Apheriun to 0%
Mission Completion: Apheriun, no longer able to recast the seals, stands before you in mortal form. His kingdom of the nether plane lays open before your invasion.
